Aspects on the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) 2020 Guidelines on Radiofrequency Radiation

Abundant and convincing evidence of increased cancer risks and other negative health effects are today
available. The ICNIRP 2020 guidelines allow exposure at
levels known to be harmful. In the interest of public health, the ICNIRP 2020 guidelines should be immediately replaced by truly protective guidelines produced by independent scientists.

STANZ Submission to the NZ Climate Change Commission – March 2021

STANZ in general agrees with the Climate Change Commissions (CCC) overall goal that Aotearoa must focus on decarbonising and reducing emissions at the source (both locally and globally). Unfortunately, the CCC reports do not currently adequately consider the massive (and growing) increase in energy use and greenhouse gas emissions by the digital economy through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Cloud computing and wireless communications through the 4G and increasingly 5G systems, mobile smart phones and the infrastructure and data centers required to run them (both locally and globally).
